General FAQ    Home

What are my rights outlined in the End User License Agreement?

ScholarWare's End User License Agreement is a very important license agreement that governs your use of TopScore Pro? software.  You agree to the terms contained therein when you use the software.  The license agreement is very simple to read and we suggest you read the entire License Agreement. Essentially, there are only a couple major points that should concern you.  These are:

1.  The software is for your use only.  You are not allowed to give, sell, loan, rent or otherwise distribute the CD-ROM.  We understand that the software is only useful to you until you take the your test.  We make EVERY EFFORT to ensure you have use of it until this time.  However, this does not grant you the right to redistribute, resell, share, etc. the CD-ROM.

2.  Please do not PIRATE the software.  You can read more about that here

3.  You don't own the software.  You are renting use.  The software is owned and copyrighted by the developers (company) themselves.  When you purchase ScholarWare software, you are purchasing a right of use for a granted amount of time, (at least 7 months, but often 8 months) from your purchase date, hence the End User License Agreement.
